Tips for Visiting the Alhambra
The cultural offer of the Monumental complex of the Alhambra and the Generalife is wide and varied. You can visit the Alhambra during daytime, with the general daytime ticket option, with option of admission ticket for the morning or evening, and you can also visit it at night, for which you will have to purchase the Evening admission ticket. If you wish to visit the gardens, with the Daytime admission ticket there is a possibility of purchasing a ticket that allows to visit the main garden areas zones of the Monument. In addition, you can visit the Museum of the Alhambra free.

Visiting The Alhambra
This visit includes the areas of the Alcazaba, Charles V Palace, the Nasrid Palaces, the Generalife, the Mosque baths and Gardens. It is also possible to visit those places that have been designated as "area of the month", as long as these areas are included within the itineraries allowed by this ticket.
The visits are divided into two turns:
MMorning: Monday to Sunday:
- 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
AAfternoon: Monday to Sunday:
- 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (October 16th through March 15th)
- 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (March 16th through October 15th)
There are two kinds of night visits: the night visit around the Nasrid Palaces and the night visit around the Gardens. These visits are independent and incompatible because they take place at the same time. This ticket does not include the visit of the Monument during the daytime.
NThe Nasrid Palaces visit Friday to Saturday
- 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (October 16th through March 15th)
- 10:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (March 16th through October 15th)
GThe Gardens visit: Friday to Saturday
- 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (October 16th through March 15th)
- 10:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (March 16th through October 15th)
This ticket provides only the access to the main gardens of the monument during the daytime visit. It is also possible to visit those places that have been designated as "area of the month", as long as these areas are included within the itineraries allowed by this ticket. Visitors may access to the following gardens:
Alhambra: Walk of the Cypresses (Paseo de los Cipreses), Unirrigated Land (Secano), Saint Francis´Gardens (Jardines de San Francisco.)
Alcazaba: Garden of the Ramparts (Jardines de los Adarves)
The Partal: Portico of the Palace, Gardens and Walks, Rauda, Palace of Yusuff III, Tower Walk.
Generalife: Lower Gardens and High Gardens.
These places have not got a specific time to access, so visitors may visit it during the morning or afternoon turn indicated in the ticket.
